There are two main options to reach Porto de Galinhas from the Recife International Airport (REC):
- Shuttle Service (~$40 back and forth or ~$20 one way). Once you arrive and leave the baggage claim area at REC, search for the LUCK receptive office, near the South arrivals area. They are available 24/7, but we recommend that you schedule your transfer before starting your trip, in particular if you are arriving late at night. By doing this, the LUCK receptionist will also arrange to have someone waiting for you at the arrivals area holding a plate with your name and you won’t need to go to the booth and pay. - Taxi Service (~$30-35 one way). You should look for a taxi from Coopstar (white with a blue stripe). It is the only taxi cooperative that is accredited by the airport (see the website at https://coopstar.com.br that shows pictures of the taxis). There are taxis available 24x7 past the sliding doors in the arrivals area.
